Hilltop Motel

I gave four stars for service only because there was no daily cleaning service, although we had everything necessary for our stay. It did not bother us for a three night stay and may be appealing to those who want to be left alone. I am confident they would have supplied us with anything we ran out of.

Very clean and very friendly. Will definitely be back in March.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the owners Carl and Jenny. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. They indicated they had recently purchased this Motel and we're putting a lot of work into it. The rooms were extremely clean. There was new bedding and an extremely comfortable mattress. The bathrooms are very clean. Each room has a refrigerator and microwave and parking was directly outside your door. This hotel has a definite 1950s charm to it with its owners paying great detail to quality and comfort. If you needed anything they were very happy to accommodate . As I was getting something from my car the owner Carl came out and chatted me up for a while and this was very reassuring is something missing from your large scale lodging places. I would never hesitate to come back for the comfort and scenery of a sunrise or sunset.

This is a very basic Motel. Not a lot of fancy Frills, such as continental breakfast or coffee maker in the room. I always rate motels on the quality of sleep, and I got an excellent night sleep here. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. For the price is all you'll need, a quiet Motel with a comfortable bed to get a good night's sleep. The owner and his wife are fantastic, very nice people.

Was very impressed with the room, it was pretty up to date, only thing missing was extra coffee packets. Room was clean, location was great.. will definitely stay again.

Old but clean rooms. Thin walls; customers were put in adjacent rooms and you can hear a lot of what happens in the other room. Still, they kept their bathrooms well-appointed and the manager's friendly. Great, scenic spot for a motel with easy access to downtown Crawford.

My son and I stayed here while on a 5 state turkey hunting trip. We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean and had every we needed. The owners were great to us. Very accommodating and even pointed us in the right direction to find turkeys. We plan to come back in the future to hunt and will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are no frills but you get everything you need. Owners are really nice and you can't beat the location if you want to see Toadstool Park, Fort Robinson, or Hudson Meng Bison Bone bed. You can't do better for the price. In the spring there is a Sharp Tailed Grouse Lek nearby which is excellent.
